See what each app is costing you. Rows now show live CPU and memory usage, so you can spot the app slowing your Mac down without opening Activity Monitor. Turn it off any time with "Show Performance Data" in the menubar menu.
New Heavy filter. One click narrows the list to the apps actually using significant memory or CPU, worst first. If nothing on your Mac is working hard, the list stays empty.

The list stays where you scrolled. Scrolling through your windows no longer jumps back to the top when the list refreshes in the background.

Find tabs by their address. Browser tab search now matches the URL too, not just the page title, so a tab is findable by its address even when its title doesn't mention it.
Runs on macOS Monterey. WindowHopper now supports macOS 12 and later (previously 13+).

Fixed a crash when setting a custom hotkey. Recording a custom keyboard shortcut could quit WindowHopper unexpectedly. Custom hotkeys now record reliably.

Find browser tabs on every Space. Tabs in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera, and Comet now show up even when their window is on another desktop Space, not just the one in front of you.
Grouped and vertical tabs. Tabs inside Chrome tab groups, and vertical tab strips, are now found reliably.
One-time permission. The first time you search browser tabs, macOS asks to let WindowHopper control your browser. That is what lets it read tab titles across Spaces. You can decline and the rest of WindowHopper keeps working as before.

Chrome vertical tabs. When Chrome's tab strip is set to vertical, your tabs now show up individually in WindowHopper, just like they do with horizontal tabs.

Cleaner menubar menu. Fixed the menu alignment on macOS 26 (Tahoe), where the Quit row picked up a stray icon that pushed the other items out of line.

Visit the website from the menu. A new "WindowHopper Website" item in the menubar menu opens window-hopper.com in your browser.
Tidier menu. Trimmed a rarely-used item to keep the menu focused. The welcome screen still appears the first time you launch.

Tidier menu. The menubar menu is now grouped into clear sections: your preferences together, help items together, and Check for Updates next to Quit. Easier to find what you need at a glance.

Contact Support menubar item. Opens a prefilled support email in your default mail client with version, macOS, and Accessibility info already filled in, so reporting a problem is one click.

Polished welcome screen. Clearer wording on what the global hotkey actually does — "type a few letters and hop" instead of jargon.

Welcome window. First launch now opens a short welcome screen explaining the global hotkey and how to grant Accessibility permission, so the app doesn't just vanish into the menu bar.
"Show Welcome…" menu item. Reopens the welcome screen any time you want a refresher.

Auto-update. WindowHopper now checks for new versions on launch and once a day while running, and offers to install them automatically.
Open at Login. New menubar toggle for starting WindowHopper with macOS. Defaults on for new installs; you can turn it off any time.
Tag fix. Tagging or favoriting a single tab no longer cascades the badge across other tabs that share its title.
